Summary: we don't use ads or tracking cookies (only one cookie that remembers your language), we don't store your IP address and we never sell your data. Payments are handled by Tebex; we never see your card details.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the Rede Glory administration, run by a private individual living in Portugal. Rede Glory is an independent Minecraft server, not a company, and is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
For any question about your data, email [email protected].
This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679), Portuguese Law No. 58/2019, Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) for players in Brazil and, for players in the United States, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
What data we collect and why
1. Visit statistics
- What: an anonymous code calculated from your IP address and browser (the IP itself is never stored), the day of your visit, the pages you viewed, the site you came from (for example Google or YouTube, or a link with
?ref=) and the store products you clicked. - Why: to know how many people visit the site, which pages and products are most popular and which promotions work.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 7, IX LGPD). The code cannot be used to identify anyone.
- Retention: automatically deleted after 12 months.
2. Store purchases
- What: the Minecraft username you enter in the cart and the products you choose. After payment, Tebex shares the purchase details with us: username, products, amount, date and, in the Tebex dashboard, possibly the name, email and country entered at checkout.
- Why: to deliver the products on the server, provide support if something goes wrong, handle refund requests and prevent fraud.
- Legal basis: performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 7, V LGPD) and compliance with legal and tax obligations.
- Retention: the record of usernames entered in the cart is deleted after 12 months; purchase records stay with Tebex for as long as tax law requires.
3. Staff and content creator applications
- What: the answers you write in the form: username, Discord username, age, availability, whether you have a microphone, whether your account is shared, experience, channel and video links, the site language and your other answers.
- Why: to review your application and reply to you on Discord.
- Legal basis: your request, when you submit the application (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 7, V LGPD).
- Retention: while the application is under review; once decided, it is automatically deleted after 6 months. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.
4. Technical logs
Like any website, the server hosting the site may log the IP address, date and requested page for security and to fix errors. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short time and are not used for anything else. To protect the site from abuse, the forms and the store limit the number of requests per person; for that, the server keeps a code derived from the IP address (not the IP itself) and the time of the latest requests, which stop counting after 24 hours.
We do not run ads, build behavioural profiles or make automated decisions about you, and we never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Third-party services
- Tebex (Tebex Limited, United Kingdom): processes payments and is the reseller of the store products. Payment details (card, Pix, PayPal…) are handled only by Tebex, under the Tebex privacy policy. The United Kingdom has an EU adequacy decision.
- mc-heads.net: provides the player head images (staff and applications). When those images load, your browser connects to this service, which receives your IP address.
- Google Fonts (Google, United States): provides the site's fonts. When you open the site, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Google is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Discord: the member and online counts are requested by our server from Discord, without sending any of your data. If you join our Discord, Discord's privacy policy applies.
- Hosting provider: stores the site's files and database, only on our behalf.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy (access and portability);
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete it or restrict its use;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (for example, the statistics).
To do so, email [email protected] with your Minecraft username (and, if it is about a purchase, the Tebex transaction number). We reply within 15 days at the latest. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm that you own the account (for example, by a message on the Discord account given in your application). Because the statistics are anonymous, it may not be possible to link them to you.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the CNPD (Portuguese Data Protection Authority), in Brazil to the ANPD (National Data Protection Authority) and, in the United States, to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) or your state Attorney General.
Players in the United States
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws: we don't exchange it for money or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. So there is nothing you need to opt out of, and Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are respected by design, because we don't track you across sites.
The categories of information we collect, the purposes and the retention periods are described in What data we collect: identifiers (username, Discord username, anonymous visit code), purchase information (through Tebex), site usage data and form answers. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws can ask to know what data we hold, receive it, correct it or delete it by emailing [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
Children under 13 may not submit forms (applications and creator requests). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with COPPA (United States), the GDPR and Portuguese Law No. 58/2019, and Art. 14 of the LGPD (Brazil). If we learn that we have received data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we delete it immediately.
Purchases by anyone under 18 require the permission of a parent or guardian. Staff applications require being at least 18. If you are a parent or guardian and want to know what data we hold about a child, or ask us to delete it, email [email protected].
Security and changes
Data is stored in a database that is not accessible from the internet, the site uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and the admin panel is password-protected. When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page and announce important changes on Discord.
